A "native" Montrealer, Georges Doxas graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Music. Currently, he is director of music education at the Segal Center for the Performing Arts. He has also taught as a adjunct professor at McGill University and was the Director of the McGill based Montreal International Music Camp. George is known in Montreal as a bassist, recording engineer, composer and record producer.(Pictured here with sons Jimmy and Chester)

The Academy of Arts and Science nominated George Doxas for a Golden Reel Award for his musical compositions and editing of "The Audrey Hepburn Story" starring Jennifer Love-Hewitt. At a more local/civic level George was chosen "West Island Man of the Year" by thelocal Chamber of Commerce, for his exceptional contribution in the realm of education,and for his many years of fund-raising for Montreal charities.
